Who can fill such role, carry out such duty
To learn from Khadijah, so she can be to her father, a mother
To teach her daughter the veil, in preparation for the day it will be snatched
And the rose in the market paraded
To train Husayn in sacrifice for His pleasure
On the day even a six month old won’t be spared
To ingrain in Hasan peace, whose bier will be struck by arrows
To accompany Ali as wife
Leaving him with jannah’s fragrance for all the dark days to come
To be the perfect daughter, to the noblest father
To help Fidhdhah with the chores
Before help for the Ahl becomes suicide
To be the noblest mother before she left four orphans
To accomplish her mission as teacher during her short stay on earth
Ah! To be Fatimah, only Fatimah can suffice!
